Lost in a world of sorrow and pain
I’m sitting here alone
All my pride has left me
Time was come to ask myself
What is right or what is wrong
To leave no doubt
I believe in god
But god no longer believes in me
Looking in the darkest corner of my bleeding soul
A fear comes up in me
From what I will find for
An fallen angel those wings have trouble remembering how to fly
An self doubt boy with sad eyes
Tears of blood running from his face
A little candle burns in his heart
His last chance to lead him back
Crying like an helpless child
Searching for an guiding hand
Those lead him through
The garden of fear
Endless wandering in
A world of darkness
Coming to the river of blood, tears and pain
he recognises
no bridge of this world will carry him over
he starts to remember
the candle that still burns in him
but the time swapes all away
his fear grows
there´s no place to hide for
when the angel of death will come
the sad eyes try
to let the old times passing by again
wandering through
a last smile left his kindly face
tears are falling down
from his wounding soul
still proud of all he had done
and those he left behind
now waiting for the judgement day
so I ask myself if it´s real or fantasy
the candle still burns and all the love in my heart
an angel is watching from above
look around for him all that time
so he comes down to him
to reach his helping hands
speaking wise words of mercy
he lays his guiding hands on him
the boy knows that the time is come
the angel will carry him over the river
reaching the other side
the angel helps him to remember how to fly
with a smile on his face
tears of proudness in his eyes
he knows that time has come
to enjoy the life and all the pleasure
that god has given to him!
For all people who live their live in selfdoubt and pain
I think the candle still burns in everybody of us all
We only have to search for!
